Norwegian born, New York raised pocket thief cum music madame Sassy Kraimspri has a voice to raise the dead (cackblabbath.com). The music is street punk, blues grunge. The 1920s humping the 70s while the 90s gently spoons them both. With her band of ragged misfits she has travelled the world, playing along the way; in New York at CBGBs, Toronto's NXNE Festival, , toured China, Australia, the UK, Germany, and Norway and opened for the likes of Ida Maria, Casiokids and Melissa Auf Der Maur, Djerv and Datarock. Under her Kraimspri moniker she has released 2 EPs and an album- "Dirty White Lies"- all of which are available for sale through www.sassykraimspri.com (the album is on iTunes worldwide, Amazon and a zillion other places- look it up!). The band consists of Sassy on vocals and guitar along with collaborator husband and Australian punk legend Tricky Dick from Sydney s Smash n’ Grab on lead guitar, and southern belle Lovely Linda Lustalot on bass/backing vocals. Drummers are the backbone of the band and rotate according to availability and geographical location. Sassy and the band decamped to the UK in June 2010 to record The Pussy Magnet EP with producer Russ Russell (Dimmu Borgir, Napalm Death, The Exploited, The Wildhearts etc.) which they released on New Year’s day, 2011. The returned to the studio with Russ in 2012 and recorded the follow-up mini album Cock Fight, coming in early 2013. They have received wide-spread recognition for their punchy songwriting and electric live performances. Norwegian mainstream radio had them picked as "one to watch" in 2011 and the band stands on the precipice of great things once the next release sees the light of day.
